On Thursday, May 31, the St. Cloud Skate Plaza project team and The Youth Shelter Supply held a fundraiser to raise money for the new skate plaza.
It was a silent auction at the Red Carpet Event Center from 5-11 p.m. Area artists painted artwork and murals on blank skateboard decks which were available to bid on.
All proceeds from the auction and the door were donated to the St. Cloud Skate Plaza .
This event was open to all ages from 5-8 p.m. for the silent auction. Hors D'oeuvres were served during this time. Then from 8-11, people of all ages boogied to the 70's and 80's classic rock dance music of THE RECEDERS who generously donated their time and talent for this evening.
This was an opportunity for artists of all ages and genres to get their work out there and support a great cause. This event was for anyone who values art, music and skateboarding.
